    India GO Cookie Policy

    Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy explains how the India GO website (indiago.app) uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy (https://indiago.app/privacy). The website is operated by Pervogo LTD (London, company no. 15248477).

    1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. Below we call all of them "cookies".

    2. Cookies We Always Use

These are needed for the site to work and to remember your choices. They don't need your consent.

    • ig_consent: remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. Kept for 6 months, then the site asks again.
    • indiago-lang (local storage): remembers the language you chose, until you clear it.
    • indiago_tracking (session storage): keeps the campaign tags from the link you arrived by (such as utm_source), so the store buttons can pass them on. It holds no identifier and is deleted when you close the tab.

If you choose "Accept", we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages people open, how they arrived (including campaign tags in links), and which buttons they tap, such as the store buttons. This helps us decide what to write next and fix what doesn't work.

    • _ga (Google): tells one visitor's visits apart. Kept for up to 2 years.
    • _ga_<id> (Google): keeps the state of the current visit. Kept for up to 2 years.

Until you accept, and if you reject, Google Analytics is not loaded at all: no Google script runs on the page and no analytics cookies are set.

Google processes this data on our behalf. It may transfer data to the United States under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual terms. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation.

Links to the App Store, Google Play and partner services open their own sites, and their cookie policies apply there. We put no partner scripts or tracking pixels on our pages.

    5. Changing Your Choice

Use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to accept or reject analytics cookies at any time. If you reject after accepting, the site stops analytics and deletes its analytics cookies. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will ask you again.

    6. Contact

Questions about cookies or your data: mail@indiago.app

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk).
